Great Wolf Lodge

Last (okay, well, a few weekends ago already!) we headed to Great Wolf Lodge for a sort of family reunion with all of Torrey's side of the family.  We had only been there once with Cameron when he was around 4 and both boys were more than excited to go.
Side note: These pictures are NOT good! Our point and shoot is on it's last leg--and why there are hardly any pictures!  I have a brand new Canon Rebel T3i waiting to be opened in a box but for some reason I am nervous to get that baby out and use it!!? And of course did not want to debut it surrounded by constant splashes of water ;) And we did take some with our iphone but I have yet to locate the cord and to try to download the pics from there onto my laptop ;/

Of course when we got there it was in the suits and in the park.  No time to grab the camera!
We had a room that we all ate in for Friday night and all day Saturday.
Some of the cousins on Saturday morning.

Chillaxin' with Ellie before heading to the pool.  Haiden for some reason enjoyed being in the room a bit more than the park.  He even took a nap Saturday before lunch!

And this one with these goggles!  He seriously forgets he has them on his head.  This was about the only shot I got of Cameron sitting still.

Spent a lot of time in the lazy river--Cameron with Uncle Jeff

And here we are again thinking about getting wet.  Maybe.  Maybe not.

Okay, we'll just play in the spouts.
Again.

Saturday night pizza!  It was so nice to all eat together and have room enough for the kids to more or less eat and play!  With 12 kids under 12--we need the space!

After pizza we had a room set up with a movie and snacks.  Fun!

And of course we hit the arcade many times.  The boys had these little cards that they could swipe like a credit card to play a game---had to be on them like hawks before they just went and had a hay day swiping on some not so good for a 7 and 4 year old games or ones that were WAY too much to play but oh so appealing!!  Haiden was determined to get something out of this machine!  Again--did not get many pics in here with all the lights, sounds, happy card swipes and treats calling both boys in different directions--you could loose them so easily in such a little space!
It was great to be able to stay 2 nights to not have to try to do it all in a day.  The boys had so much fun playing with cousins and doing something different with our weekends and the adults could have used about a 10 degree temperature increase in the park--but surely a weekend that created some memories.  Maybe this will become a little tradition!
