What?!

What!? It is so hard for me to think, let alone see, how big Haiden is getting and how fast we have gotten to being 4 1/2 months old! He doesn't quite get it yet, but his big brother has figured out how to twirl him around in it while saying "whee, whee Haiden!"

Oh that lip!

Haiden was born sporting this adorable pouty lip. He just sticks that bottom lip out and all you can do is laugh at him! I have tried numerous times to catch this little lip but it goes in and out so quick and then all I can get is a full on cry. BUT, the other night he was working his angles and kept it going long enough for me to catch it! Oh.....so kissable!!!

Lately

Not too much has been happening here with the boys lately. This week has gone by in a blur! We have been having fun just playing and playing. Hope you are enjoying the beautiful sunshine!

The water was FREEZING! But of course Cameron had to see for himself...as long as someone would go with him! Notice it is not mom or dad. Somehow we "forgot" our suits!

Camping Adventure #1

Our first camping experience of a family of 4 was fantastic this past weekend at CranHill Ranch! The weather was perfect and the boys slept, ate and played great! Cameron hardly sat still and Haiden just loved being outdoors and checking out all new scenery around him. It was heart warming to see Torrey show Cameron all the fun things he used to do when he camped as a little boy like fishing and catching turtles and frogs. I am REALLY going to have to get used to liking turtles and holding them when Cameron is so excited about his catch that he just has to have me hold it! Can't wait for the next camping adventure!

New Things

A new adventure for Cameron was going up north a little ways to ride 3 wheeler with Torrey and Grandpa Vruggink. They were gone all morning and of course Cameron loved it. Now he wants a dirt bike because that is what he saw racing around on the trails. It's hard for Torrey to remember sometimes that Cameron is only 3 as he has Cameron convinced he can get one.....and a quad as well. Mommy of course was not in on that discussion!
And as for Haiden, these are his fun new toys. No helmets or batteries required for these!

Yes, another toy

Yes, Torrey and I are suckers and got Cameron another toy. If we don't stop soon we won't be able to put our cars in the garage! And yet again something that requires a helmet and that he really has no fear of rolling down a big hill. Someday he'll learn to watch where he is going.

A Special Day

This past Sunday we were able to celebrate with friends and family Haiden's baptism. I can't believe 3 years ago we were doing the same thing with Cameron. It is so precious to know that both of my boys are growing up to be strong children of God. We were so happy standing up in front of our church hearing proclaimed the promises God made for our son and that Haiden is a child of THE covenant and blessing. Thank you, God...AMEN!!
