Up and Running

Finally my computer has a charged battery so I can post. Since a lot has happened lately this will be a random post filled with it all! The boys and I are getting settled into our new routine and are having so much fun together. Can it really be July already!?
Mommy turned 32! This is the best picture we got! One wanted the cake and the other wanted to play with the candles. And this was after getting caught in the storm out at the beach!

Our big man completed his first round of gymnastics complete with a trophy and ribbon. He was so proud of himself and excited to show us all he learned. He even remembered all of his balance beam "routine". This is something we will continue as he really likes the tumbling, bouncing, falling and jumping. Who would have guessed?!


And then we went camping! Last weekend was our first time at Cran Hill Ranch. It really is our favorite place in the summer. The boys did great and we enjoyed all of our summer fun!

Eating stones in the middle of the road(okay so not part of our annual summer fun but it kept the kid content for a long time!) And NO he did not swallow any of them!

Popsicles

Popsicles are the BEST in the summer! Especially sitting on the front porch after dinner enjoying a beautiful summer night! So far, the beginning of the summer has been fabulous!

Haiden kept trying to pick up the little pieces of his popsicle that fell out but they melted too quick ;)


I love this side by side profile shot(except the red spot remnants of a mosquito bite on Haiden). They look so different to me, especially how blonde Cameron is getting already this summer!

Off and Running

YEAH!!!! SUMMER!!!!!

Summer is here and we are OH SO EXCITED! I feel like I want to do everything all right now...playdates, beach, parks, picnics, shopping, wrestling(yes a daily activity around here), camping, baking, snuggling and lots of kisses for owies that I can give now that I am home.

Our mornings have started out early and we need to get into a being at home routine but we have hit the ground running!

We got Cameron a "yeah it's summer" glove and baseball and we have spent a lot of time playing ball already.

This little one is BUSY! In to everything and anything he can get his hands or mouth on. He found out how to get sticky notes apart. Now I have many pads of them ;)

Cameron and I will have some just us time when Haiden takes his afternoon nap. Puzzles, marbles, games and crafts are great things when little hands and feet are not there to nab and destroy things!

Wrestle time! Any time Cameron is on the floor Haiden takes full advantage and tries to bounce, crawl and sit on him. Most of the time his big brother is a good sport about it....at least for now. Haiden says "ha, I got him, Mom!"

And of course what would a kick off to summer be without a meal with corn on the cob(or as Cameron likes to say corn from the cob)?! Haiden was all over it!
