Adventures

Life had been filled with adventures these past few weeks. Cameron's latest obsession is Rescue Heroes. We play them all the time and want to watch the video when we are not pretending to be them. Here he is outside climbing the tree with a little rope trying to propel down and rescue someone.
And of course a Rescue Hero would not be complete without all of his gear!
And little Haiden has ventured into the world of green beans!
He also just took his longest trip away from home when we went to visit our newest cousin Levi up in the UP. His first time across the bridge and in a hotel....he was a fantastic traveler.
He loves a hotel just as much as mommy does!
Playtime with cousin Levi. I think Haiden liked being the big boy in the room!

Bathtime and a Birthday

Torrey just celebrated turning 39(no that's not a typo) and I tried getting a cute pic of all my boys and here is what I got...
No smile
and crazy smile
Haiden had his first bath with Cameron. I am curious to see what Haiden will do when he can hold his own against his big brother!
Cameron showing Haiden a cool trick that just happens to take place close to his head.
Already trying to get his little brother to do things that mommy and daddy say not to! How to get kids to NOT drink their dirty bath water is a mystery still to me, but with boys I guess there are worse things they could ingest!

Camping Adventure #2

We had an amazing time at Cran Hill Ranch with Torrey's family. Cameron was in his little piece of heaven being outdoors and playing all the time. Cran Hill is such an awesome place and I look forward to creating more memories each summer. It already has become a tradition carried down from Torrey. FYI....Torrey's family received a camper of the week plaque 1 day after I was born. How weird does that sound. Both boys did fantastic in every way. Enjoy just a few pics from our fabulous vaca!
Beach time!
Morning coffee...yes for Cameron, too!
Pony rides
Play time in the camper when it was raining
And of course campfire and snacks
Don't want to leave little man out....he spent lots of time just hanging out!
Oh....who can forget the ice cream...every day!!

Family Time

We are off for the next week to Cran Hill Ranch for some camping with Torrey's family. We always have a great time. What little boy doesn't like to wake up and immediately be outside!! Here is the latest pic of my boys....and one that really doesn't need any caption at all. Hopefully it will leave you with a laugh.

Nothing Specific

Nothing too specific to post on except we have been enjoying all summer has to offer as it is zooming by!
I love mornings when my boys have their wake up time together!
"You really expect me to eat this??!!" First time with cereal!
Feeding the giraffes at Binder Park Zoo

Getting closer!!!

Playtime and Worktime

Cameron has been busy this past week playing with friends and family but our week would not be complete without work time to help build the deck. He takes his play toys out to help, but then gets upset when they don't work like daddy's. He wants the "real ones to cut wood and drill". Luckily he has been pacified with a hammer and nails. A few extra holes in the deck won't matter, will they?!
Picnic on the porch with Will and Ellie. Always one child not looking!
Playtime with little brother. I should cherish this picture of them playing nicely and not screaming at each other!
Playdate with Ben...2 boys actually sitting for a picture!
Worktime......notice his little work belt like daddy's. We had to get out another hammer, drill and more nails for him to be one of the big guys. None of this pretend stuff for him!

Ahh, summer

It wouldn't be summer without......
corn on the cob
strawberry pie.....
and outdoor projects!
Torrey(with the help of family!) is building a deck off of our sunroom. Can't wait to have summer dinners outside! This is what we accomplished in a weekend and hopefully in another week or 2 it will be almost completed!
